In a clarification issued by the examinations body, UNEB emphasized that the marking and verification process for UACE scripts follows a strict and structured procedure to ensure accuracy, fairness, and credibility.
Officials explained that before results are released, scripts must go through marking, moderation, data capture, verification, grading, and approval stages.
UACE examinations, taken by Senior Six candidates across the country, play a critical role in determining university and tertiary institution admissions. Because of the importance of these results, UNEB noted that it does not rush the process and only announces official release dates through authorized communication channels.
The Board also cautioned candidates, parents, and school administrators against relying on rumors suggesting specific release dates. It reiterated that any confirmed date will be publicly announced once the marking and quality assurance processes are complete.
Over the years, UNEB has consistently maintained that result releases depend on the completion of technical procedures rather than fixed calendar expectations.
The Board further reassured candidates that efforts are always made to release results as promptly as possible without compromising accuracy.
Students are advised to remain calm and wait for official communication from UNEB regarding the final release date for the 2025 UACE results.
