Trump Weighs Tougher Response as Iran Talks Stall
US President Donald Trump is reportedly growing increasingly frustrated with Iran’s handling of ongoing peace negotiations, with some advisers now considering whether stronger military action may become an option again.

According to reports in US media, Trump’s concerns are linked to Iran’s continued blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and what he sees as divisions within the Iranian leadership. Sources close to the talks say the US president believes these disagreements inside Tehran are making it difficult for Iran to present a clear and united position during the negotiations.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most important oil routes, and its closure continues to affect global trade and energy markets. Washington has repeatedly pushed for its reopening as part of wider efforts to restore stability in the region.

Reports say Trump expected Iran to make major compromises during the talks, especially on issues related to nuclear activities and regional security.

However, US officials reportedly believe the Iranian leadership is struggling to agree internally on how far it should go in negotiations with Washington.

Some advisers close to the White House are now said to be discussing whether a return to wider military operations should be considered more seriously than before, although no official decision has been announced.

Despite the growing disagreements, diplomatic efforts between both sides are still ongoing, with international observers closely watching whether the talks can produce a breakthrough or move further apart in the coming days.
