Veteran Ugandan music producer Abdul Karim Muchwa, popularly known as Producer Didi, has officially introduced his new girlfriend Chandiru and revealed that wedding plans are already in motion.
After days of viral photos and cozy moments making rounds on social media, Didi came out to clear the air, confirming that he has found love again and is serious about taking the relationship to the next level.
According to him, the bond may be new, but the intentions are very clear, this time, it’s leading straight to marriage.
Didi explained that despite not being together for long, he believes Chandiru is “the right one,” emphasizing that commitment matters more than time spent.
He added that a wedding is not just about romance, but a strong statement of seriousness in a relationship.
The producer also revealed that he has recently come out of rehab, a phase he says helped him reset his life and focus on what truly matters.
As part of preparing for marriage, the couple has reportedly gone through necessary medical procedures, including tests, with Didi openly sharing his HIV-positive status while reassuring that he is on treatment and currently undetectable.
“I’m undetectable at this stage, taking care of yourself makes all the difference,” he noted, encouraging others in similar situations to stay disciplined with their health.
And in true Didi fashion, he made one thing clear this won’t be a secret wedding.
