Iran has firmly rejected former US President Donald Trump’s demand that it reach a deal within 48 hours or face severe consequences.
Trump had warned that if Iran did not comply, “all hell” would break loose, recalling a previous ultimatum he issued on March 26.
On Saturday, Trump posted on social media that time was running out for Iran and threatened major military action.
He also shared a video showing explosions lighting up the night sky, claiming that many of Iran’s military leaders had been hit, though he did not specify when the strikes occurred.
In response, Iran’s central military command called Trump’s threat “helpless, nervous, unbalanced, and foolish.
” Major General Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi warned that any aggression would be met with strong retaliation, suggesting that the situation could escalate dramatically if the US continued its pressure.
This latest exchange adds to rising tensions in the region, with both sides using strong words and warnings.

Observers say the standoff highlights the fragile state of US-Iran relations and the risk that miscalculation could lead to serious conflict.
